PowerView are battery powered with a separate battery wand.
You DON’T need to have any wiring to install these shades.
NEW: Internal Litium Ion Rechargeable Motors. The battery is
within the tube of the shade, NO external batteries or wires.
HOW DO I OPERATE MY SHADES?
PowerView shades come with a 6 channel hand or wall
remote. You can place the wall remote anywhere in the room
or use as a hand-held remote.
With the PowerView Generation 3 app, you will have complete
control of your shades from anywhere you have a wifi
connection. The app sits on any of your smart devices and
you can control your shades in multiple ways without using the
remote control.
WILL MY SHADES WORK WITH GOOGLE,
ALEXA & APPLE.
YES. With the purchase of the POWERVIEW APP you can
control all your shades using multiple APPS giving you
extended control of your shades.
DO WE INSTALL & PROGRAM?
YES. Shades of Home technicians will measure for and install
your shades, program the remotes and assist in setting up the
APPS.
FINALLY, WHAT IS THE WARRANTY?
Hunter Douglas offer a 5 year warranty on their POWERVIEW
motors. We assist in honouring that warranty on behalf of our
clients.

How do I prepare to install PowerView+ Motorized Shades?
POWER: One pair of 18 gauge twisted bare copper wire,
unshielded.
COMMUNICATION: One pair of 22 gauge stranded copper
wire, shielded.
POWER DISTRIBUTION PANEL: Each Shade Power
Distribution Panel provides power and data for up to 16
motorized shades. Additional panels can be included for an
unlimited power and control of multiple shades.
ALL YOUR BUILDER/RENOVATOR HAS TO DO IS RUN THE
WIRES TO A COMMON LOCATION (Mechanical Room)
Shades of Home will arrange for Hunter Douglas Technicians to
install the shades and complete the connection to the pwer
distribution panel.
